Jenna is an Azure-powered AI voice assistant that handles real-time phone calls and responds with context-aware, natural dialogue, built to reduce the load on human support teams without making callers feel like they're talking to a machine.
Problem
Statement
Voice AI is unforgiving: latency, cost, and conversational memory all have to work together in real time, or the experience breaks down immediately. A voice assistant that pauses too long, forgets earlier context, or costs too much to run at scale isn't usable in production.
Possible
Solution
We built real-time voice processing on Azure Communication Services, powering natural, context-aware dialogue through Azure OpenAI (GPT-4o). Multi-turn conversation memory, powered by Cognitive Search, lets Jenna remember what was said earlier in the same call, while optimized prompt batching and the removal of redundant services cut latency and cloud costs simultaneously.
